Works impeccably with musical instruments as well as human voice pitch detection, so singers can use it as well for practicing purporses. ChromaTune works on a scale based on 440 Hz A, but also gives you the option to adjust the 440Hz A with +-10Hz based on your specific needs.
With its state of the art pitch detection algorithm, ChromaTune responds quickly to any sound from microphone input, accurately finds and displays the closest Note, also giving you a graphical and numerical representation of how close to, or far from the actual pitch for that note. It will even display a graphical representation of the decibel input for you.

Doesnt even display one single note. When I played a constant note, the apps notes were jumping all over the place. Do not buy.
I sang a steady E flat into it and it was showing tons of different pitches. So I went to my piano (Which is perfectly tuned) and played Middle C and it still said it was tons of different pitches. Rapidly changing from one to another, dont waste your money on this like I did.
